THE family of the late Tom Ross is warning the public about a fake fundraising page set up for his funeral costs.
The well-known and respected building contractor died on Saturday after an Ashe Street building he was working on partially collapsed. His funeral took place yesterday in Fenit.
Family members became aware this morning of a scam where a page was set up using a number of family photographs asking people to help fund the funeral costs.
The family say this is entirely fake and are asking the public not to click on the page and do not donate any money. They are asking people to report these pages.
