‘Into The Woods’ will play in Siamsa Tire from the March 12-14

1. For those of you out there that hold a fondness for fairy tales in your heart, then the new production set to light up Siamsa Tíre is one that you cannot afford to miss.

‘Into The Woods’ is a fairy-tale with a difference from the Light Opera Society of Tralee!

An ambivalent Cinderella, a blood-thirsty Little Red Riding Hood, a Prince Charming with a roving eye and witch who raps.

When a Baker and his Wife learn they’ve been cursed with childlessness by the Witch next door, they embark on a quest for the special objects required to break the spell.

Everyone’s wish is granted at the end of Act One, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later, with disastrous results. A lively irreverent fantasy becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our children.

Tickets are pricing at between the €14/16 range and can be booked online. All the information can be found here.
