TRALEE Chamber Alliance will liaise with local businesses, chefs and food producers to hold a Food Festival on the May Bank Holiday Weekend next year.
The planning is in the early stages, but it is hoped there will be a food trail, food demonstrations and an emphasis on local producers.

The festival will be welcomed by foodies and the public as there has been little happening in Tralee on Bank Holiday weekends from May to August.
The Dingle Food Festival draws huge crowds from Tralee in early October, with its food trail a highlight for many, while Listowel Food Fair has also grown into a significant attraction for all things culinary.
Tralee has more than enough pubs, restaurants, cafes and food producers from the surrounding area to make it a real attraction for both locals and tourists looking for something different on a Bank Holiday weekend.
