A FIFTH year student in Gaelcholáiste Chiarraí came third in a competition for All-Irish schools in Cork on Wednesday.
Stuart Daley, a teenager with a passion for rock music, took to the stage in The Youth Theatre in Fermoy to represent in the school at Scléip, a stage based competition for All Irish schools.
With the backing of staff and fellow students, the Ballyheigue native performed brilliantly on guitar and impressed all present. Stuart cites Metallica and Rory Gallagher among his influences.
