GARDAI in Tralee are appealing for information after a theft from outside a house.

On Sunday, June 20 at 6am, a person was preparing to go to work from a house in Clahane, Ballyard.

They left a rucksack by their car and went back into the house for something but when they came back out the rucksack was gone.

Gardaí examined CCTV from the neighbour’s house which showed a man on a bicycle cycling down the hill.

They stopped and took the rucksack before cycling away towards Caherwisheen.

Gardaí are appealing to any motorist who was out early that morning and saw a cyclist in the area to contact them at Tralee Garda Station.
