GARDAI in Tralee are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault in Tralee last week.

On Wednesday, July 12, at around 2.30pm, a male and female were involved in an altercation on Castle Street. It’s alleged that the male grabbed the female by the throat.

The woman was not injured. Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. The area was busy at the time so Gardaí say someone must have seen the incident. Anyone with information can contact Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
