TRALEE Gardai are appealing to the public in relation to an incident in the town on Saturday night.
Shortly before 2am, the Gardaí came across a male lying on the ground on Denny Street/The Mall.
He sustained head injuries and was taken to University Hospital Kerry for treatment. Gardai said it appears it was an unprovoked assault.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in contact with Tralee Garda Station on 066-7102300.
