The suspected drugs seized in Annascaul on Friday.
GARDAI in Dingle seized approximately €21,750 of suspected drugs and arrested one person during the course of a search of a residential premises in Annascaul, on Friday morning.
During the course of the search, carried out as part of ongoing investigations into the sale and supply of drugs in the Dingle area, suspected cocaine and cannabis, with an estimated value of €8,500 and €13,250 respectively, were seized.
A male (60’s) was arrested in connection with the search, and detained at a Garda station in the Kerry area, under section four of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

He has since been released and is due to appear before Dingle District Court on 22nd December 2023 at approximately 11am.
The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland (FSI) for analysis. Investigations are ongoing.
