GARDAI in Tralee say they will issue fines to motorists who illegally park outside schools.
Gardaí have placed traffic cones outside some schools in town in a bid to deter motorists from parking there, but they say motorists are now manoeuvring to park between the cones.
Speaking on Radio Kerry this afternoon, Garda Eilish Cronin said this is illegal and they will issue fines in relation to the offence.
Garda Cronin said some of the schools are located near residential areas and cars are blocking driveways causing disruption and showing a lack of consideration for residents.
