IT’s seems like a strange thing to bet on, but as sure as two flies climbing up a wall people will throw down a bet on anything.
It may seem a difficult one to call, given the lack of form guide, but last year the bookies called, Maria Walsh to win it, proving yet again they’re not often wrong.

Paddy Power and Boylesports are currently offering odds on who will become the 57th Rose of Tralee tonight and both have made Meath Rose, Elysha Brennan, as the favourite at a price of 5/4 (Paddy Power) and 11/8 (Boylesports).
Boyle Sports has this year’s Kerry Rose, Julett Culloty, from Kilcummin in the shake up at eighth favourite (16/1).
Both bookies have the New York Rose, Sophie Colgan as second favourite.
