IFA Rally To Be Held In Tralee This Morning

MOTORISTS may experience traffic delays in parts of town this morning due to a rally being held by farmers.

The Irish Farmers Association (IFA) is holding a nationwide ‘Day of Action’ at 11am today to highlight the threat to Ireland’s farming sector from EU CAP reform and the Irish Government’s Climate Action Bill.

Locally, farmers will gather in the Mart Yard, Caherslee, Tralee at 11am and make their way down town.

The rally will make its way down Caherslee towards town, left through Stacks Villas, over North Circular Road to the Railway Station, where it will veer left up the Listowel Road, turning left at the Killeen Road, travelling over Bracker O’Regan  Road back to the Mart.

It’s expected the rally will be back in the Mart by 12 noon.
