THE worst of Storm Imogen has passed but there is still a Yellow Status wind warning in place until this evening.

Westerly winds of mean speeds 50-65 km/h will gust 85-100 km/h this afternoon and evening in southern parts of Munster and Leinster.

The warning  remains in place until 8pm this evening.

As well as the high winds, a huge amount of rain fell around Tralee and, as our photos show, the area around the canal experienced some flooding.
