Annual AGM Our AGM will be held on Saturday 14th Jan 2023 @ 12 noon in Ballyseedy. Looking forward to seeing as many club members as possible on the date.Irish Life Steps Challenge returns!!!

That time of year again folks. The Steps Challenge is starting on January 11th and runs till February 15th. The club will be entered into a draw to win O’Neill’s vouchers once we collectively hit 4000km in steps. You must download the Irish Life app, and register for John Mitchels Kerry as outlined below.

Can we ask everyone to start registering on the “My Life” app. Once downloaded and you’ve completed your profile go to

1: “Challenges”

2: Click into “Munster GAA – Every Step Counts”

3: At the top you will see leader board tap into this and scroll down until you see John Mitchels Kerry

In addition, our Ireland Lights Up weekly walk, in collaboration with “Operation Transformation” will return on Thursday 12th January at 7pm  on our Club walkway. Please join us!

Please spread the word these walks are for our entire community not just members.

6AM FULL BODY STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CLASSES FREE FOR ALL MEMBEBERS
Come along  on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Avail of our free strength and conditioning classes being facilitated by George Bastible. All you need is motivation, an exercise mat and water. Open to all 18 year olds and over.
MONDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHTS START TRAINING LIKE THE PROS OPERATION TRANSFORMATION STYLE FREE FOR ALL MEMBERS
Come  along to the Astroturf and take part in a one-hour session with George Bastible. Open to all club members, players and parents from minor upwards. If you have the desire to be the best version of yourself, come to John Mitchels at 6pm on Monday and 8pm on Fridays and increase your fitness levels
Training
All teams have completed their season for 2022 and we wish all players well on their strength and conditioning programs.

BINGO

Bingo is  on   Wednesday and Friday nights

Eyes down at 8.30pm sharp.

LOTTO

John Mitchels GAA Club Lotto Results: Sunday 8th January 2023.

This week’s Lotto numbers are 11, 19, 24, 28.

The numbers today were drawn by George Lowe and Rory Kilgallen.

There was no winner of the Jackpot of €2,650.00.

CLOTHES COLLECTION

We have a clothes bank on site having joined up with St Vincent De Paul to raise much needed funds for both John Mitchel’s and SVP. All donations welcome.

CLUB WALKWAY

Our walkway is open for everyone to enjoy so come along and take part in a healthy lifestyle. Please respect the rules of the walkway being a smoke free zone, with no cycling, studded boots or dog walking. Many thanks to the users of this facility for respecting these rules.

BOOT CLUB

Our boot club is now back if you want to drop off your old boots so they can be reused, feel free to drop them to reception.

JOHN MITCHEL’S SPORTS COMPLEX & CHAMFERS

If anyone is interested in hiring the hall for indoor soccer, basketball etc or our Astro turf please contact club reception on 066 7197070. We are also hiring out our old clubhouse on the John Joe Sheehy Road. You can hold dance classes, meetings, fitness classes, book clubs you name it we can cater your needs.
