Semi-Final. Intermediate Club Championship:

Mitchels v Spa Killarney

We played Spa Killarney in the Semi Final of the Intermediate championship in Killorglin. Mitchels won the toss and played with the wind in the 1st half. We started well and scored three points without reply. Spa hit a purple patch scoring a numbers of points and two goals leaving the half time score Spa 2-07

Mitchels 0-06.

Mitchels faced the daunting task in the second half down 7 points and playing against the wind. Full credit to our lads they hit the ground running scoring a quick point followed by a goal from Ciaran Deane. Spa however rallied kicking some long range points with the wind running out winners with a final score Spa

2-16 Mitchels 1-10.

With the help of our many Mentors and Development Committee the Club registered over 150 boys and girls into the programme. The training programme proved very successful and both parents and children were delighted with the first session.
