Making the journey with Joshua – a pupil at Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn – on Saturday will be mom Sharon, and 15 other cheerleaders who no doubt will be travelling to roar down the house in support of Joshua. This is the second year on the bounce he has got this far in the competition.
Getting to the finals had its own trials and tribulations, Joshua, came through Munster and All-Ireland semi-finals catching the eye with renditions of songs by pop artists.
The stakes will be raised higher at the Red Cow Inn on Saturday as Joshua will compete against 27 other talented young performers from around Ireland and the best talent the competition has to offer. Good luck Joshua.
