JRI America staff spent some of their corporate volunteering hours to help Tralee Tidy Towns repaint a large wall at Killerisk which had been in need of a  fresh coat of paint.

The project was supported by local residents and facilitated by Tralee Chamber Alliance and Kerry County Council.

Brendan O’Brien, Tralee Tidy Towns Chair, said: “We are delighted to engage in this collaborative project with JRI America through Tralee Chamber during volunteering week. This is the fourth project they have worked with us on over the last six months: from beach cleaning, to bulb planting, from tree planting to painting, they are really showing a commitment to supporting us and supporting the town of Tralee.”

Colette O’Connor, CE of Tralee Chamber Alliance said: The strategic partnership programme of Tralee Chamber Alliance has community at its core. It is in the interest of all businesses to give back to their local community, whether through  sponsorship or feet on the ground getting hands dirty.

“Our corporate partners JRI America have never been shy  on either front and were busy today out supporting Tralee Tidy Towns doing a fantastic job painting. It’s this visibility of the difference a few hands can make that sets the businesses of Tralee apart – Ní neart go chur le chéile,” said Colette.
