Junior Cycle Students Invited To Take Part In Schools Geography Quiz

HAS your school got what it takes to claim the title of Junior Geographers of Kerry?

The Educate.ie inaugural Geography Quiz for Junior Cycle Students will take place in CBS the Green, Tralee on Thursday, May 9 at 7pm.

The winning team will receive the inaugural Geography Quiz trophy for their school along with a cash prize of €100 for the winners and €40 for the runners up.

All participants will receive a complimentary gift for their participation and refreshments will be provided on the night, along with many spot prizes.

Questions will be set on the Junior Certificate syllabus, current affairs and general geographical knowledge so it’s a great way to prepare for the Junior Certificate.

“This guarantees to be a great fun night out for students and an opportunity for junior cycle geography students and their teachers to meet up,” said CBS The Green teacher, Karen Tobin.
