GREAT news is coming through that Katie Taylor is set to fight US Olympian, Queen Underwood in Tralee next month.
The event is being organised by Tralee Boxing Club. Tonight they will hold a meeting to decide the venue, ticket prices, and confirm the date of the fight, which is expected to be Saturday, February 20.
Tralee Boxing Club are expecting a big turn out for the 2012 Olympic gold medallist as she prepares for the Rio Olympics this Summer.

“She is a fantastic representative for boxing because she’s such a good person,” said Pat O’Shea of Tralee Boxing Club.
The five time world champion will be fighting Queen Underwood in what is expected to be the American’s last fight of her amateur career.
“We’re hoping to promote it and get as big of a crowd as possible, to promote the sport of boxing,” said Pat.
Here are the two fighting in the 2010 AIBA World Boxing Championships Semi-Final. It was a ding dong battle with Katie Taylor just coming out on top, 18-16.
