Well known sports personalities supporting Kerry Cancer Support Group’s #keepyoureyesontheball campaign in Killarney on Saturday.

SPORTS Stars helped Kerry Cancer Support Group bring awareness of their fundraising campaign at Bank of Ireland’s Business and Community Expo at Killarney Racecourse last Saturday.

The event was part of Bank of Ireland’s expansion of the Enterprise Initiative which will be grown to include 100 new towns in 2016. Kerry Cancer Support Group, Kerry – Cork Health Link Bus, were invited, along with other groups, to highlight their services.

At the event, well-known Sports Stars and personalities such as Mick Galway, Jim Culloty and Killian Young among others posed for a photo to support Kerry Cancer Support Group’s awareness campaign, #keepyoureyesontheball for the month of April.

April is Testicular Cancer Awareness month. There are up to 180 new cases of Testicular Cancer diagnosed in Ireland each year. It is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in young men aged between 15 and 34.

However through campaigning, Kerry Cancer Support Group want to make people aware that there is a 96% survival rate. Early detection increases the chances of survival so #‎knowyourbody and #‎keepyoureyesontheball.

Kerry Cancer Support Group want to extend their thanks to Bank of Ireland for the invite to the event and to all those who took the time to help out with this campaign.
