NÓTAÍ NA mBAN
Since it’s formation, the LGFA has been more than just providing a sporting and cultural outlet for our members. Great work is carried out by clubs throughout the country, this we pride ourselves on and especially our own KLGFA who in lieu of gate charges for the District finals asked all attendees to make a donation at the gate to the #Play4Emma treatment fund.
Emma Langan is 14 years old and has been diagnosed with leukaemia. She has commenced treatment in Crumlin’s Children’s Hospital. Emma plays football with St. Brigid’s Club in Mayo.
All of these donations will go a long way in helping Emma and her family through the next stages of Emma’s treatment plan. We in Strand Road wish Emma the best .
There are times when people in our community need help and it’s fantastic to see people rally round to support… a lovely gesture from everyone in the Kerry Ladies senior executive.
Also well done to Kitty Bowler who so far has raised €1780, a wonderful young lady!
Kitty donated at least 20 inches of her beautiful hair to Rapunzel Ponytails while raising money for the LauraLynn – Ireland’s Children’s Hospice.
