Seniors :

Tralee town board senior league commences this coming Sunday, 12th Feb when we play Ballymac at home with throw in @ 12 noon. Follow us on ClubZap for all information relating to reports, results & fixtures.

Kerry, with Micheál Quirke on the management team recovered from last week’s defeat to Donegal to comprehensively defeat Monaghan in Killarney on a final scoreline of 3-16 to 0-14; fielding only five starters from last year’s All Ireland victory over Galway, Kerry led at half time by four points but kicked on in the second half to record an 11 point win. Kerry now have a break until the weekend after next when they travel west to take on Mayo, under lights in Castlebar on Sat 18th.

Limerick were at home in their Division 2 game vs Dublin and can take heart from a credible performance before going down on a scoreline of 2-17 to 1-11.

U12 GIRLS
The ‘field of dreams’…. Ever imagine that you would get to play at half time of a Kerry Senior Ladies national league game!! Well it happened for our U12 girls last Saturday.

We along with our neighbours Austin Stacks were invited to play an exhibition game in Austin Stack Park. Maith sibh a chailíní!

Congrats to the Kerry ladies on your third win in the National league. A super group of ladies who along with their management were so accommodating and gave time to each girl.

Many thanks also to the KLGFA for inviting us, the girls had a wonderful afternoon. Paul Murphy, KLGFA PRO , thank you so much for sharing our posts. Watching and meeting the stars makes them hope in time that they also will aspire to be great players and wear the green and gold for their county.

We’re looking forward to the Dublin game in a fortnight’s time. We will be out in full support. Training continues this Saturday at 12pm. in the Sports Academy , MTU.
