If you haven’t already had a chance to download “The Greatest Gift “ , an ebook by the LGFA, it might be a good idea to read it with your daughter over the winter months.

It shows us as parents that sport can play a very positive and real role in the life of young girls. Sport is an outlet for them and they are part of a team when playing Gaelic football. It’s up to us to encourage them and to give them the greatest gift…

U14 GIRLS

Our U14s will play Annascaul / Castlegregory next Saturday, November 11th in the North Kerry, division 2 shield final.

Throw in will be at 2p.m. in Castlegregory.

In the case of a draw extra time will be played… result on the day.

The loser of this match will play Moyvane in the plate final.

Best of luck to the team and management.

U16 GIRLS

We are hoping to have details of the U16 division 2 , North Kerry shield final v Na Gaeil early in the week.

U16 KLGFA TRIALS

Best wishes to our players who are attending U16 trials at the moment.

The second trial will be next Saturday, November 11th in Pat Healy Park, Ballyrickard.

MINOR TRIALS KLGFA

Best of luck to our players who have been invited to try out for the 2024 KLGFA 2024 Minor team.

The first trial will be next Sunday, November 12th. More details to follow during the week.

CONDOLENCES

Our condolences to the families and friends of Mary O’ Hehir ( née Horan),Jackie Frawley ( née Kerins) and Pat McKenna.
