KERRY and Donegal players could face retrospective disciplinary action because of scuffles that ensued during the Allianz National League match in Austin Stack Park on Sunday.

RTE are reporting that the GAA’s Central Competitions Control Committee are believed to be looking at a number of incidents from a match that saw two men sent off along with two black cards and six yellow.

The CCCC are holding a conference call this morning and will look over footage along with referee, Eddie Kinsella’s match report. No date has been set for any hearing, but it’s possible players will be called to explain their actions.

It is believed that Donegal’s, Neil McGee, will be called in relation the events prior to the Alan Fitzgerald’s sending off.

The CCCC are investigating footage that appears to show the Donegal full back attempting to cause harm to Fitzgerald’s hand just before the Castlegregory man lashed out at McGee.

The actions of players from both sides around the Leo McCloone sending off may also be examined. McCloone saw the line after striking Aidan O’Mahony.
