Kerry Badminton Association News

Badminton AssociationThe Knock out Cup competition for division 4 League teams took pride of place at the Killarney Sports Centre on Sunday last where 5 clubs battled hard for several hours to see who would come out on top and be acclaimed as the club of the day.

The Clubs who took part were Moyvane, Killarney, County Tralee, Listowel and Iveragh. With each club meeting each other on the Round Robin system this was a fiercely contested competition with the organisers amazed at how many games went the full distance of the 21-20 scoreline.

After so many thrilling encounters it was Tralee’s County Club that captured the main honours as they came out on top with a total of 17 games captured with the Iveragh Club of South Kerry in 2nd place on 13 points but well done to all 5 clubs for giving the onlookers such a feast of Badminton on the day.
