ALL of the Kerry Citizens Information course participants received their FETAC accredited, Advanced Certificates for the Information, Advice and Advocacy Programme with distinction, in the Institute of Technology in Blanchardstown last week.

Development Manager, Frances Clifford, commended the programme participants, who were both staff and volunteers, for making the commitment to complete a course which was directly related to their role in Citizens Information and would benefit the service and the public they serve.

“I am so proud that all the staff and volunteers completed the course and doubly proud they did so with distinction. It was well deserved given the hours they put into it outside of their work & volunteering commitments and shows a real commitment on their part to providing a quality service to the people of Kerry,” she said.

Kerry CIS provides independent information, advice and advocacy services to the community on their rights, entitlements and the social services that exist to support them.
