Kerry College Clash Project Shortlisted For National Award

AN initiative which started last year at Kerry College Clash campus has made the shortlist for the National Project Awards.

Shortlisted for Social Good – Corporate Project of the Year is the Kerry College’s “Take It Or Leave It” project.

The ‘Take It Or Leave It’ initiative saw students leave unwanted non-perishable food on a shelf just inside the entrance to the college in Clash. Then, other students who need food could take it away.

The Ireland Chapter of Project Management Institute (PMI) revealed its shortlist of contenders for this year’s National Project Awards, held in partnership with PwC this week.

From developing state-of-the-art automated solutions to milestone projects that changed Ireland,  the shortlisted finalists represent the country’s leading projects and project management personnel.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of PMI globally, the 2019 awards in the Dublin offices of PwC on November 14 will not only acknowledge the winners of the seven categories, but also the winner of a special Jubilee Award for Ireland’s most influential project over the past 50 years.
