A ‘Back to the Future’ music concert fundraiser event was organised by Kerry College students for K.S.P.C.A, an organisation close to the students’ hearts, on Monday at the Clash campus.

The Level 5 Music Performance and Sound Production students showcased many of the songs they have been working on together since September. The songs spanned the decades, from the swinging 60s to the chart-topping hits of the 2000’s.

“These are an incredibly talented and hard-working group of students,” said Miranda Cournane, Music Performance Course Co-ordinator.

“They’ve only known each other for a couple of months and many them have never performed in public before. They have put in hours of practice and rehearsals. We are very lucky to have them study here with us at Kerry College of Further Education and Training.”

Representatives from K.S.P.C.A attended on the day and a number of local sponsors in Tralee supported the event by providing spot prizes. The event was generously supported raising €229.50.
