Cathriona and her team, which is made up of herself and team captain John Coss, competed on both an individual and team basis. The pair, with their background team and supporters who travelled over to Paris with them, celebrated the phenomenal win and cheered proudly as they waved the Irish flag while collecting their medals late on Monday night.

“I cannot believe it, I am so thrilled and literally on cloud nine,” said Cathriona after the win. “To get 4th place is a dream come true and something I never even imagined, especially as we were a team of two competing against full teams of three. I would like to thank everyone who came and supported us, in particular our trainer Mike Hoffman, our team manager Maeve Healy Harte and my amazing model Kerry O’Connor who looked fantastic and no doubt helped us clinch the place.  I would also like to give special thanks to Julie Clement, Cliona Sweeney and Rebecca Wall who helped put the winning looks together. Now our attention is towards the OMC World Cup in 2017 when we will compete with an extra pep in our step and increased confidence to go all the way and win.”
