THERE were three Kerry lots sold at the BidX1 (formerly Allsop) online auction today.
These included a mansion in Sneem — which went unsold at the last auction and dropped in price considerably — and nine houses in Banna.
Glashnacree House, Derryquin, Sneem had a reserve range of €1,050,000 – €1,150,000 which was well down from the reserve of €1,395,000 – €1,405,000 in the auction last month.

The detached, two-storey, six bedroom Victorian Coastal Country House sold for €1,100,000 after one bid. Together with two guest cottages, 40 ft swimming pool, stables and tennis courts it is on a site extending to approximately 8 hectares (20 acres).
Meanwhile, nine holiday homes (Nos. 3, 12, 22, 54, 56, 57, 58, 78 and 79 ), at Banna Beach, were sold for €315,000 after one bid, having had a reserve range of €310,000 – €320,000.
These are 6 x three bedroom semi detached houses and 3 x three bedroom detached houses. The properties range in size from approximately 90 sq. m – 102 sq. m (969 sq. ft – 1,098 sq. ft) and were offered collectively as one lot.
Out west, No.10 Tralee Bay Holiday Village, Castlegregory, had a reserve range of €95,000 – €105,000 and was sold for €105,000 after one bid.
This is an end of terrace three bedroom house, extending to approximately 117 sq. m (1,259 sq. ft). It is subject to a tenancy at a current rent of €4,800 per annum.
Two other properties in Kerry — a house in Pairc Na Dún, Tralee and a house in Ballinskelligs — failed to attract any bids to meet their reserve.
