KERRY Motor Club has launched a ‘Shop Local Campaign’ this Christmas in recognition of the many businesses that have supported the club’s activities over the years.
As a result of the pandemic, the club was unable to run any of its events this year, including the flagship Circuit of Kerry Rally in April.
In the past, the North Kerry motorsport club has relied on the support of local businesses to get their events off the ground and members now want to recognise that support.
They are encouraging motorsport fans in Kerry to make their purchases, this Christmas, at outlets that supported the sport in better times.

“It is fair to say everyone has suffered in some way this year, but we can’t forget the businesses that put their hands in their pockets over the years to help our events”, said club chairman PJ O’Dowd.
“These are the people that make motorsport happen in this part of the country so think of them when you are doing your Christmas shopping this year,” he added.
