KERRY’S top stylists will do battle at a fantastic charity event next month which is a must for fashion lovers.
‘Rags To The Runway’, which takes place at the Ballyroe Heights Hotel on Saturday, March 11, is a unique fashion event for anyone with an interest in thrift shopping, vintage clothes and fashion in general. What’s more, all proceeds made on the night will go to charity.
Eight stylists have the challenge of creating a five outfit collection all from charity shops. The looks will be worn by professional models, the audience vote for the best collection unaware as to who’s behind the collection and those present will have the opportunity to purchase any looks after the show.
The profits from the show will go to the following seven charities which are Adapt Tralee; Sue Ryder Foundation; SVP Tralee; Kingdom Care (the Mart) Tralee; NCBI Edward St Tralee; The Cancer Society shop Tralee and Enable Ireland Shop Tralee.
The stylists involved each have their own flair for fashion and are well know throughout the county. They are Claire Murphy of Expose Beauty, Danny Leane of Annburys, Eileen Whelan of Paco, Aine Wall, Rebecca Kemp from Rose of Tralee, Orlagh Winters MC & Style Guru, Laura MacSweeny, Blogger & stylist and Jill Hannon of Hannons Castleisland.
The evening will consist of a champagne reception and a the second half of the night will be a fashion show, showcasing the top boutiques across Kerry. The winner will then be revealed and there will be an amazing after party.
