AND so it begins again. After the workouts that were the McGrath Cup games, more competitive fare will be on show in Tralee on Saturday night as Kerry welcome Derry to Austin Stack Park.
Jack O’Connor announced the team for the league opener earlier tonight and there’s a number of Tralee men on the matchday panel.
Dylan Casey of Austin Stacks starts at corner back with his club colleague Joe O’Connor in midfield. Another Rockie, Armin Heinrich is on the bench while Na Gaeil men Diarmuid O’Connor and Damien Bourke can be called on if needed.
