KILLARNEY native Jessie Buckley has been nominated for a BAFTA award.
The Kerry woman, currently starring in ‘Cabaret’ in London’s West End, is shortlisted for Best Supporting Actress for ‘The Lost Daughter’.
She will be competing against fellow Irish actress Ruth Negga whose performance in ‘Passing’ sees her nominated in the same category.
It’s not Jessie’s first nomination at the prestigious awards. Back in 2020 she received a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in Wild Rose and was also nominated in the Rising Star category in 2019.
