The most successful underage club in Kerry will once again be called Tralee Dynamos.
As of August 2 this year Kingdom Boys will be no more and all underage teams with the club will revert back to the name Tralee Dynamos.
“We’ve decided rename all underage teams Dynamos to avoid confusion in the future,” said Noel White of Tralee Dynamos
“It’s also good from a marketing point of view and promotion of the club that it will now be one name,” he added
Kingdom Boys broke away from Tralee Dynamos in 200o. They amalgamated again in 2009 prior to Dynamos entry into the League of Ireland. This was in order to facilitate a pathway from underage to senior soccer with the club.
This is a very welcome development Tralee Dynamos had made great friends all over Ireland with their schoolboy teams, down through the years meeting soccer people they would ask did your schoolboy club fold I would then explain about how Kingdom Boys came about. They have done us proud and produced some great schoolboy soccer teams and carried out the running of their squads in a very professional manner. I wish the Tralee Dynamos all the best for the future.
