THE good people at the Kingdom Care charity shop are holding a coffee and information morning next week to raise awareness of the services they offer.

The group held a similar event earlier this week in their Castleisland premises which was a great success.

Anyone who attends will be greeted by the staff and volunteers of Kingdom Care, located in the Mart grounds at Caherslee on Friday, October 9 at 11am-1pm.

People can enjoy a free coffee or tea and discover the delivery of the vital service provided in the local community by carers to older people.

Volunteers from Kingdom Care provide home support, break the cycle of isolation, check that older people are not in need of medical assistance, have adequate food and heat and keep them company and provide a social service to them.

Of course, all donations of new and usable clothing, footwear, unwanted gifts and usable bric-a-brac are greatly appreciated throughout the year.
