LOCAL hospitality businesses and food services suppliers this week came together to support the Ukrainian people by coordinating a donation of food and essential items.
Five pallets of dried food and other essential items will be leaving Tralee on Wednesday with the goods expected to be delivered on Saturday to the Polish Reception centers for the Ukrainian refugees by Gary Lowham of Garyowen Transport.
The donations were made by Ballygarry Estate, Ballyseede Castle, The Rose Hotel, Manor West & The Ashe Hotels and John Lane & Sons.
