Local Charities Benefit From Pancake Mornings At Brogue And The Grand

TWO venues in town hosted special charity pancake mornings yesterday.

Recovery Haven Kerry were flipping for funds at its third annual fundraising pancake morning at Kirby’s Brogue Inn.

Customers received free pancakes with every tea or coffee purchased between 10am and 12 noon, with patrons being invited to make a donation to the charity in return.

Similarly, over in The Grand Hotel, Kerry Hospice was the beneficiary of a pancake fundraiser in The Pikeman Bar, with former Kerry star Ger Power and current midfielder David Moran showing their support by flipping the pancakes.

Both charities expressed their thanks to The Grand and The Brogue for their generosity in hosting the events.
