WITH the Tralee Food Festival just a week away, an exciting launch party is planned to kick off the four day event.
Taking place in the glamorous and stylish Lottie’s Bar at The Ashe Hotel, guests will experience the popular ‘Beats & Birdcages’ and Valentia Island Vermouth Tasting at the launch.
The Birdcage contains three layers of sharing plates, offering the diner a selection of savoury light bites to enjoy. Choose from one of the three themed birdcages, the Classic Charcuterie & Cheese, the Meat Feast or the Vegan Delight.

The Ashe Hotel are also participating at the Tralee Food Festival Taste Trail on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1.
Their three offerings are Tim Jones beef slider with Sneem black pudding and Eve’s leaves smokey tomato relish in a brioche bun, BBQ pulled Pork with Folláin’s spiced apple chutney and Carrigaline smoked cheddar cheese in a brioche bun or a V & T – Valentia Island Vermouth and Tonic.
Tralee Food Festival Taste Trail Booklets are available from The Tech Co., Ugly Mug Coffee Shop and The Glasshouse Tralee. The booklet will contain 10 tokens redeemable at all 21+ participating outlets and will cost €22.
