Speaking ahead of the MTU Kerry Careers Fair, Angela Teahan, a Careers Officer with MTU, said; “For students, there are many benefits of attending a careers fair whether you are at the beginning of your university journey, or even part way through.

“It is an ideal platform for seeking out work experience, placement and internship opportunities which will significantly enhance future CV and job applications. For final year students and postgraduate students, the careers fair is an excellent platform to explore different sectors and graduate opportunities, which is hugely beneficial when considering your future after graduation.”

Furthermore, the MTU Kerry Careers fair will provide attendees with an excellent platform for networking with professionals from various industries, who are actively recruiting.

Meeting representatives from companies of interest allows one to forge valuable connections, exchange contact information and potentially secure future job, placement or internship opportunities.

Building a strong professional network is crucial for career development, as it opens doors to new possibilities and enhances one’s visibility within the job market.
