A plaque will be unveiled a the site of the old St Joseph’s Industrial School opposite the entrance to Scoil Eoin Balloonagh on the Caherslee Road.
THE Mayor of Tralee and the elected members of Tralee Municipal District will be unveil a plaque to mark the location of St. Joseph’s Industrial School, Tralee at a ceremony this weekend.
The plaque will be unveiled by Mayor Terry O’Brien on Saturday, May 4 at 10.30am on the boundary wall of Holy Family School on the Caherslee Road (opposite the entrance to Balloonagh Primary School).
The memorial plaque follows agreement between the elected members of Tralee MD that the site of the Industrial School be acknowledged and identified in this way.
