A TRALEE student has used his dance skills to donate funds to the Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation.
Michael Everett, a student from the CBS The Green, who is a member of Cassie Leen’s School of Dance, Tralee, donated money to the foundation, as he says “it’s a great charity for teenagers”.
Michael who does a freestyle (disco dancing) and slow contemporary, created CDs on each style, raising €200 from the sales.
He donated half to the charity that combats suicide. He said he wanted to donate the money to help those “less fortunate than myself” .
Michael is pictured with Ms. Helen Hayes, his Religion Teacher who helped him with the organisation of this gift and the Principal, MS. Anne O’ Callaghan.
