U11 Boys:
On Saturday, July 29th our U11 boys team travelled to the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick GAA to take part in the regional Munster GAA blitz.
⬜ Before the action started, the boys were treated to a Stadium Tour and got to experience the dressing rooms and video analysis area before the tour finished in the press box overlooking the ground with Limerick Senior Footballer, Peter Nash, giving a superb overview of the match day experience.
In the Gaelic Grounds we played five competitive games against Tramore (Waterford), St. Josephs Milltown Malbay (Clare), Emly (Tipperary), Liscannor (Clare) and Broadford (Limerick); before moving onto Adare GAA, where we played two games against the host club. Thanks to Fionnan Kelliher for organising the games.
The team stopped in the Fitzgeralds Woodlands House Hotel & Spa on the way home for food and ice-cream which kept the energy levels up on the journey home. Thanks to all at the hotel for reserving huts for the players so they could enjoy their food together and discuss the day’s play.
Thanks also to Pat O’Shea, Donal Daly and all the team in Munster GAA for organising such a wonderful event, A day that the players will remember for some time.
Finally, well done to our young players and their parents and management, for once again representing our club with great distinction and honour.

Congratulations: Wedding Bells!
All at Milltown/Castlemaine GAA would like to send our heartiest congratulations and well wishes for the future to Brendan and Clodagh Delaney (née Shannon) who got married on Saturday in Tipperary.
