Milltown cresrSenior County Championship Relegation playoff

Kilcummin preserved their senior championship status with a three points victory over our own club-Milltown –Castlemaine in Castleisland on Sunday afternoon.

MC was very unfortunate to lose Donal Dennehy to injury in the 14th minute. Donal had just scored MC’s 1st point -when he landed awkwardly on his left elbow-sustaining a fracture.

Later in the 2nd half, Paul Carroll had to be replaced after picking up an ankle injury. We wish them both a full and speedy recovery.

Well done to the entire panel that fought right to the end and to Mike Hickey, Mike Carroll and Timmy Teahan for their commitment and enthusiasm with this team.
