IT really has been a disappointing month so far as regards the weather.
There little signs for optimism too as Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow – Rain warning for Munster, Leinster, Connacht, Cavan and Monaghan for most of Friday.
They say there will be spells of heavy rain on Friday and blustery at times also, especially on south and east coasts. They’re warning of the chance of localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
Continued below…
The warning is valid from 2am on Friday to 7pm tomorrow evening. Looking locally, the rest of Thursday will be showery in the Tralee area with the heavy rain coming around 6pm and continuing until about 3pm.
After that it will be showery with lengthy dry spells, but heavy rain will arrive again on Friday night and well into Saturday morning leading to a showery afternoon.
