YOU may have seen a Kerry jersey pop up on your screens during the US Masters at Augusta last night.
A lot of people on Twitter and social media did anyway with many wondering who was keeping up the tradition of Kerry jerseys being seen at major sporting events in the US.
Well the man wearing it is from Carrigeen, just outside Killarney. Golf-mad Alan MacSweeney got a ticket from a friend of his whom he met while working in America on the J1 Visa last year.

His buddy lives just a stone’s throw from the famous Augusta course and managed to get Alan a ticket for Sunday, his dad Donie told TraleeToday.ie earlier.
On Saturday, Alan, who is over in the States on holiday, drove the 800 miles from New York in 13 hours so he could be ready for the action the following day.
The Glenflesk GAA man is a member of Killarney Golf Club and was delighted to visit the famed course. He got a bit of attention too while he was there according to Donie. The 25-year-old was approached by many people enquiring about the jersey, including Rory McIlroy’s dad.
