YOU may have seen a Kerry jersey pop up on your screens during the US Masters at Augusta last night.

His buddy lives just a stone’s throw from the famous Augusta course and managed to get Alan a ticket for Sunday, his dad Donie told TraleeToday.ie earlier.

On Saturday, Alan, who is over in the States on holiday, drove the 800 miles from New York in 13 hours  so he could be ready for  the action the following day.

The Glenflesk GAA man is a member of Killarney Golf Club and was delighted to visit the famed course. He got a bit of attention too while he was there according to Donie. The 25-year-old was approached by many people enquiring about the jersey, including Rory McIlroy’s dad.
