RIP: The club wishes to express its deepest sympathy to Ray and Diana Duffy on the sudden passing of their son Brad in Canada recently. Brad played underage football with Na Gaeil. May he rest in peace.

Fundraiser for Earthquake victims: Please don’t forget our fundraiser next Sunday the 12th March for those affected by the recent earthquake in Syria & Turkey.

Come along to the clubhouse between 4.30pm & 7pm & treat yourselves to a delicious dinner costing €10 for an adult portion, and €5 for a child’s.

As an extra special treat there will also be some traditional Middle Eastern food cooked by a Syrian woman living in Tralee.

I know we’re not hearing too much about it now, but the suffering continues in these 2 countries. When asked as a club we provided much needed help for Ukraine, let’s pull together again & do the same for Syria & Turkey.

Scór: The Tralee District Final of Scór na nÓg will be held in the club hall on Wednesday the 15th March starting at 7.30pm. Na Gaeil will be well represented on the night, and there will also be entries from several of the other Tralee clubs. Please come along and support us.

Allianz Football League: Hard luck to the Kerry team especially Jack Barry and Stefan Okunbor who lost to Tyrone by 3 points yesterday in Round 5 of the National League Division 1. Their next game will be at home to Roscommon on Saturday 18th March in Austin Stack Park.

Senior Men: Our senior team’s first game in the County League (Division 2) will be on St. Patrick’s Day at 2pm, away to An Ghaeltacht.

U5 Boys & Girls: New members are always welcome. Contact Denis on 087-2808719.

U7 Boys & Girls: Well done to our U7’s yesterday morning. We had 28 kids practicing their hand passing, solo and kick passing and finished with a fun game. Training continues next Sunday in MTU. New members are always welcome. Contact Shane 086-8380434.

U9 Boys: Mid-thirties in attendance again for the U9’s, good session focusing on soloing, hand passing and shooting, followed by a mini-game. Training every Sunday morning in MTU. New members always welcome. Contact Mick 086-1509191.

U11 Boys: The under 11 boys had a great session yesterday in the MTU. Plenty mini games ensured all boys got plenty of time on the ball!  Boys are progressing weekly!  Training continues next Sunday at 11 am in the MTU. New members are always welcome. Contact Gavin on 087-2793334.

U17 Boys: Our u17 lads had their second game in the County League last Saturday when they hosted Cordal/Scartaglen. It was a close game all through with only a point or 2 between the sides at any stage & at the end of 60 minutes the sides were level on 1-11 apiece.

Community Games: After the 2022 county success of the under 10 boys community games football team, there is an opportunity to contest the county title once again. If your son is living in the St Brendan’s Oakpark area and is still under the age of 10 on the 31st of July this year, he is eligible to enter. Entering a team is subject to a parent or two stepping up to train the boys. Please contact Helen Tansley on 087 7631977 for more information.

Kelloggs Cúl Camp: The Kelloggs Cúl Camp will be held in Na Gaeil on the week commencing Monday 3rd July.

Hire the Hall: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please email nagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9am from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is back. Every Wednesday night, starting at 9pm sharp. Bring your own partner or come along and we will get you a partner.
