New STEM Building Project At ITT To Go To Tender

THE Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science has announced the construction of a new 9,000 square metre building to accommodate the STEM School of IT Tralee, including Agri-Tech facilities.

This is part of a wider announcement which includes extensions for 11 educational institutions nationally to create space for 8,000 additional students.

Minister for Education and Kerry TD Norma Foley welcomed the announcement of the project which will immediately go to tender.

It is being delivered under Project Ireland 2040, which, Minister Foley says “recognises that investment in education is central to achieving a strong, future-proofed economy, balanced across the regions, and a just society in which all citizens are enabled to fulfil their potential.”
