Doireann Barrett is one of the Kerry finalists in the Irish Women’s Awards 2023.

THERE are a number of Kerry finalists shortlisted in the Irish Women’s Awards 2023.

Run by Creative Oceanic, the third Irish Women’s Awards ceremony will recognise and celebrate Irish female talent. Finalists have been shortlisted based on public nominations.

Among the Kerry nominees are Doireann Barrett from Tralee in the Community Achievement Category for her advocacy work in the Endometriosis, Coeliac & Gluten Free Community as part of her business, The Gluten Free Kitchen Company.

Tralee native Helena McMahon of Seabody is a finalist in the Business of the Year (less than 50 staff) category.

Glencar native Natasha Adams, CEO of Tesco Ireland is nominated in the Corporate Leader of the Year category while Emilie’s Woodfired Bakery and Kitchen in Glenbeigh is a finalist in the Small Business of the Year category.

The awards will be held at the Crowne Plaza Dublin Airport Hotel on May 10 and and will highlight the achievements of women in many roles across sectors of industry. These include business, sport, technology, management and charity.
