THIS Saturday evening sees the opening of a Tralee Art Group exhibition in Siamsa Tíre.
Under the tutelage of Rebekah Wall, the art group will present “Sati or Tempra” meaning “being in the moment” in Sanskrit.
Inspiration for individuals has come from a variety of sources – woods, sea, water and churches are some of the ideas to be explored.
This is a fresh smorgasbord of paintings in oils, acrylic, watercolours and multi-media to be viewed.
The group exists to foster an interest in visual art in Tralee and surrounding area. It provides a meeting point for artists and arranges exhibitions, occasional outings and painting/sketching for its members.
The group believes strongly that it is important to develop art in the community and to encourage new artists of all ages.
The exhibition begins at 6pm and continues at Siamsa until February 13, 2016. All are invited to attend.
