THE Live Performance Support Scheme (LPSS) will provide financial support of over €1 million to support 12 live music venues across Kerry this summer.
The scheme aims to support live performances particularly where capacity for live attendance is restricted due to Covid-19, and where funding will make live performances viable or alternatively make them available online if audiences cannot attend due to restrictions.
In Tralee, MarketShare Kerry receives €21,157 for Tralee Music Revival — a series of performances to reignite the live music scene and culture in Tralee — while Bruno Tavern Limited receives €26,446 for live music performances at Turners Bar Tralee.
